This site is provided to give information about West Virginia University tailgating before the games. Enjoy a Mountaineer Tailgate before each football or basketball game. Parking lot locations near the stadium are shown on the "Parking" page.. We hope this provides information to help you plan your Mountaineer tailgate.
We post the time for the Mantrip here prior to each game
The West Virginia Mountaineers football team started a new tradition, Mountaineer Mantrip on Sept. 4, 2011 at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The walk is in honor of the state's proud coal industry, heritage and it's hard-working men and women. The Mountaineer march begins at the intersection of where you turn to the WVU Medical Center (Elmer Prince Dr) and Don Nehlen Drive. Honorary Captains will be named for some games and will walk the Mountaineer march.
The WVU Mountaineers are going to the Discover Orange Bowl to take on the Clemson Tigers on January 4, 2012. To order tickets to the WVU matchup for the Orange Bowl, click tickets or call 800-WVUGame. WVU is playing Clemson for the 2nd time in history. No 23 WVU Mountaineers against no 18 Clemson should make for an exciting game. Don't miss Coach Dana Holgersen, Geno Smith, Bruce Irvin and all of the WVU Mountaineers in the Orange Bowl.
